Wife. Mother. Dog-Mom. Family Enthusiast.

My journey to where I am today is a long, confusing one. Whatever career path I was currently pursuing, it always had one key piece: a desire to help.

I am a physical therapist assistant in a school. I have a husband and a toddler. These boys keep my life busy. But don’t worry, I’m not outnumbered. I have my beautiful dog in my corner to represent the girl-power in the household! My husband immigrated to this country when he was 12 years old. Our family is both bilingual and multicultural. But most of all, it is beautiful.

Prior to entering the Physical Therapy field, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Families Studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  The major had two focuses: half was learning about the development of children while the other revealed the ins and outs of marriage and families of various styles.  All of the theories and terminology I learned have come back in full clarity as I navigate through my own marriage and family.  When listening to many friends struggling with marriage troubles over the years, I found the material of my degree repeatedly coming into play. A combination of my degree, my life experiences, and my faith are applied in my advice and I discovered a calling to share.
